vastaus: These boots are in medium D width, wp stands for waterproof. Yeah, they are a wide fit and very comfortable. -

vastaus: I wear a Keen 8.5 and have for decades. I went with a 9 one summer b/c my feet had changed a bit. I wore the size 9 for easy hikes and day use for 3 years. I went back to the 8.5 when it was time to replace. -

vastaus: Any shoe you wear during prolonged physical activity should be about a half size larger than a dress or everyday shoe. I wear an 8 1/2 everyday shoe, so I ordered a 9 and it fits perfect with a little extra room. -

vastaus: The Raven/Opaline color leans towards a gray color. -

vastaus: Generally, the boots get a little wider the more you wear them, or at least that is what happens to me. I, personally, would not order larger; I would order your normal size and then break the boots in by wearing them before you hike. -

vastaus: I also wear an 8.5 wide. I went for these in a size 9, and I'm very happy with the way they fit! It isn't so much that they fit small, but I was in an REI store and the assistant said to always buy 1/2 size larger in hiking boots. -
