    vastaus: When my switch is in the off position my trim still works. There fore the trim is independent of the switch as far as I can determine.

    vastaus: Yes I think so. My Merc is fuel injected so I don’t ever choke it but the key does appear to press in to choke.

    vastaus: Yes, it’s a push to choke switch and will fit your motor.

    vastaus: I do not know. My best advice is to go to the Mercury website and check.

    vastaus: Not sure but it worked on my '85 Mercury 25xd outboard.

    vastaus: I can't say positively but I'm guessing it will work. It seemed universal for the Merc 4 stroke. I used it for my 40hp 4 stroke and it was wire for wire replacement.

    vastaus: Boat style has nothing to do with whether or not the switch will work on it. Pertains to year and make of engine only.

    vastaus: The indicated switch worked for my 40 hp 4-stroke Mercury engine.
