The bottom tray has a slight groove to drain tea out, which works great until the worms get down in there and clog it up. The bin comes with an extra screen to rotate with to avoid this problem. It is made from recycled plastic and is dark green in color. The trays have a sticker on them, and there are no windows since worms prefer a dark environment.
