Sioux Chief Drain Strainers 847-7 Editorial Review
The Sioux Chief 847-7 Adjustable Replacement Floor Drain Strainer is a highly recommended product for those in need of a sturdy and reliable drain cover. Made of stainless steel, this drain cover is not only durable but also resistant to rust. Customers have reported that it is very easy to install and adjust, making it a convenient choice. One customer mentioned that they had to drill a bigger hole in the drain cover to attach a tube, which took them about two hours. However, they noted that the product is very strong and sturdy, replacing a rusted cast iron drain cover with ease. The Sioux Chief 847-7 has a diameter of 7.25 inches and fits drain openings ranging from 3.25 to 6.75 inches. The adjustable tabs on the cover are approximately 1 inch long. The cover itself has a thickness of about 1/8 inch, which allows for easy installation without jutting out above the floor. Overall, customers have been satisfied with this drain cover, appreciating its ease of installation and durability. However, one customer mentioned that it was larger than expected and ended up using a different, smaller drain cover instead.
