Time Travel Editorial Review
Ruby Red is the first book in The Ruby Red Trilogy, a young adult urban fantasy series with science fiction elements, time travel and romance. The story follows Gwyneth, a sixteen-year-old girl who discovers that she has the ability to time travel, a gene-related trait that runs in her family. As she delves into this new world, she meets Gideon, a love interest who complicates things. The book has received mixed reviews, with some readers praising its fast-paced nature, well-developed characters, and engaging plot, while others criticize it for being too average and not capturing the differences between the past and present. Overall, the book has been described as a fun and easy summer read, with some comparing it favorably to Outlander.
